can a lady still have physical sex after having a pacemaker put in her for heart problems.?
I have a friend who's wife had a pacemaker put in for heart problems. She is 58 years old and otherwise pretty healthy. He says she absolutely refuses th have physical sex since having the pacemaker was put in. Is this normal?

A pacemaker alone isn't a reason not to have sex. All they do is speed up the heart when it goes too slow, or slow it down when it goes dangerously fast. A pacemaker doesn't affect anyone's ability to have sex, or increase the danger.
However, the heart condition could be a reason not to have sex. Her doctor can specify the level of activity that is safe for her.
Also the first few weeks, up to a couple months, are really painful to move the shoulder that the pacemaker was inserted into. It might just be too soon after the surgery to do anything.
