Question by wearin00: How was sex viewed in the Elizabethan times/(England)?
I am doing a paper on whether Shakespeare was sexist or not and I needed to know the views on sex (not as in gender) to prove the interpretation of a quote. Can anybody direct me to a link since I am gonna need to cite my sources. And I have tried Google but it does not seem to be giving any good finds. Thanks.

They were sexist, but they were more primitive about sex. They thought it was normal. After Oliver Cromwell and the Puritains, they got up tight about it.
